We awoke one cold day in January and came to the realization that we can take control of our lives. We want to live in a world were there is good chocolate and chocolate that does good as well. As I think about it, maybe it was March. It was pretty cold outside. I guess that could mean, May, right? Anyway, we found a cacao farm in Equator. The farm is run by a family and employs 100 people who harvest the cacao pods, dig out the beans, dry and ferment them and then ship them to us for roasting and blending. Bob Han can attest to the sack of Cacao from Ecuador. 68 kg of raw beans is heavy! Anyway, we roast them and transform them into amazing dark and milk chocolate. One bite and you too will appreciate the difference.
Fresh roasted, cacao beans from a single farm in Equator are carefully roasted in small batches. Then they are combined with organic single sourced coca butter and sugar and ground in a stone grinder for days. The result is a delicious chocolate
